Our Story

Malanadu is a collaborative effort among four developmental organizations: Malanadu Development Society, Malanadu Milk Producers Society, Malanadu Farmers Society, and Malanadu Tea Farmers Society. Our collective aim is to foster socially, economically, and ecologically sustainable community development. Our vision is to create a just society ensuring dignity and sustainability of life.

The mission of Malanadu is to enhance the quality of life for various groups, including farmers, women, children, youth and marginalized communities. We strive to achieve this through decentralized institution building, participatory development processes, and the application of sustainable technologies while respecting the environment, culture, and heritage.
